RECENT WORK
Despite the various restrictions imposed by the pandemic, I have been able to keep working periodically these past two years to create new landscape images in Japan and the U.S. Perhaps isolation, which is the theme of so many of these, conveys my sense of the times, although identfying the elements in often chaotic nature that capture my imagination is a constant challenge for landscape work at any time. Below please find a virtual exhibition of my work in 2021 & 2022.

My printed work is available on both gloss and matte fine art papers, but also on Bizan washi papers. Each print on these individually hand made sheets is literally one-of -a-kind. For more on washi, please visit Awagami Paper’s site: https://awagami.com/pages/washi-paper-basics. I would be pleased to send anyone who wishes to order from this exhibition or earlier work a finished print to inspect and decide whether to keep the print or return it for a full refund. Please click on the ‘Prints’ tab above for further details.
